Mysteries Mardi Gras Masks Pattern
Madri Gras, a Time of Excess
Stitch these twelve masks in
lavish fabrics such as satins, taffetas, lames,
and brocades, onto your favorite vest or shirt
pattern.
Decorate them lavishly!
Use
lots of beads, sequins, and ribbons, Don't
forget to take advantage of your sewing machines
embroidery stitches - use metallic and sliver
thread for amazing results.
We accented the masks with very thin
and braided ribbons.

Materials
Needed
- Favorite vest or vest pattern
- Fabric scraps for appliques
- 1 yard fusing web (Steam-A-Seam etc.)
- 1 yard tear-away stabilizer
- Metallic and other decorative threads
- Neutral machine embroidery thread for
the bobbin
- Beads, sequins, and jewels (optional)

Very Simple to Make
Fuse all your applique piece together.
Than take your fused together appliques
and iron the entire piece onto
your garment, wall hanging, table runner,
tote, or other project.
Now simply satin stitch all
the pieces into place. Add any stitched
detail lines, and embellish as desired. |
