Materials
Needed
- 1 yard fabric for
backing
- 1 yard background fabric
- 3/4 yard border print fabric
- 1 fat quarter blue fabric
- 1 yard prewashed flannel or batting
- Scraps of fabrics for the
appliques
- 1/4 yard suede cloth
- 1/4 yard silver tricot backed
lame' for the helmet and breast plate
- 1-1/2
yard fusing web (Steam-A-Seam
etc.)
- 2 yards tear-away stabilizer
- Threads to match appliques
- Neutral machine embroidery thread
for bobbin
- Black and blue fabric markers
- Gold and silver metallic thread

Very
Simple to Make
Fuse all your applique piece together.
Pre-sew many of the small details on the
appliques pieces.
Then take your fused
together appliques and iron
the entire piece onto
your onto your individual quilt blocks
or background piece.
Now simply satin stitch all
the pieces into place and add any stitched
detail lines. Assemble your blocks and
embellish as desired.

- Steam-A-Seam 2 Double Stick, fusible
web with pressure sensitive coating on two
