1-3/4 yards Nutcracker background fabric
1-3/4 yards frame fabric
3/4 yards frame border fabric
2-2/3 yards border fabric
4-1/4 yards backing fabric
Twin size batting or prewashed flannel

Appliques

Christmas and other fabric scraps for appliques
Gold and silver tricot backed lame' scraps
2+ yards fusing web (Steam-A-Seam etc.)
3 - 4 yards tear-away stabilizer
Threads to match appliques
Neutral machine embroidery thread for bobbin
Black, red, and blue fabric markers
Jewels and other embellishments for appliques (optional)

Very Simple
to Make

Fuse all your applique piece together. Then take your fused together appliques and iron the entire piece onto your onto your individual quilt blocks.

Now simply satin stitch all the pieces into place and add any stitched detail lines. Assemble your blocks and embellish as desired.
