Nutcracker Suite Applique Pattern
A Trio of Nutcracker Kings
You can sew any or all of our Trio
of Nutcracker Kings onto a wonderful
Christmas vest using beautiful satins, brocades,
and taffetas, and then embellish them with
beads, jewels, and metallic threads.
 You
can put all three of our kings together and
make a single, charming small
wall hanging.

Materials
Needed
- 2/3 yard fabric for each frame and
backing
- 1/2 yard background fabric
- 1 yard prewashed flannel or batting
- Scraps of Christmas fabrics for the
appliques
- Small piece of gold tricot backed
lame' for the crowns
- 1/2 yard fusing web (Steam-A-Seam
etc.)
- 1 yard tear-away stabilizer
- Threads to match appliques
- Neutral machine embroidery thread
for bobbin
- Black, red, and blue fabric markers
- Gold metallic thread

Very Simple
to Make
Fuse all your applique piece together.
Then take your fused together appliques
and iron the entire piece onto
your garment, wall hanging, table runner,
tote, or other project.
Now simply satin stitch all
the pieces into place. Add any
stitched detail lines, and embellish
as desired. |
