Catsville! Applique Wall Hanging Pattern
Where All the Cool-Cats Live...
Our easy-to-make wall hanging will have your
cats wanting to move to Catsville too.
Catsville appliques include:
• Nine different cats
• A cat scratching post and cat bed
• Mouse
• Food bowl and two yarn balls
We used thread and yarn for
the yarn balls and a small bell for
the cat post.

Materials
Needed
- Fabric scraps for the cats and accessories
- Fabric scraps for the rooms
- 1/4 yard fabric for the border
- 1/4" black seam binding - about
5 yards
- 24" x 24" batting
- 24" x 24" backing fabric
- 1 yard fusible web
- Yarn or thread for 'yarn balls' (optional)
- Thread to match appliques
- Invisible thread (optional)

We used bright solid and
print flannels - the closest to kitty fur
we could find.
The applique pieces are all fused into
place, then satin stitched down. Quilt
as much, or as little as you desire.
And we used that wonderful 1/4" fusible
quilters bias to frame everything.
You can repeat the house sections and
make your Catsville even bigger.

To help in making Catsville we
have:
- Quick Bias! On a
roll, fusible already applied - no muss, no
fuss. One roll will make two Catsville patterns.
- Our favorite fusible web, Steam-A-Seam. Pressure
sensitive on one side, will hold in place until
you fuse it down.
