These pretty Flutter Bys look marvelously like
cloisonne' when they're sewn with metallic threads.

in only one color thread.
Choose gold metallic
or gold
rayon for a wonderful cloisonne’ look.

Flutter Bys Applique
Pattern: $8.95
Materials
Needed
- Fabric scraps for appliques
- 1 yard fusing web (Steam-A-Seam
etc.)
- 1 yard tear-away stabilizer
- 2 sheets 11"x14" tracing
paper (optional)
- Threads to match appliques or gold
metallic thread/gold rayon thread
- Neutral machine embroidery thread
for bobbin
- Metafil or embroidery machine sewing
needle

Very Simple
to Make
Fuse all your applique piece together.
Than take your fused together appliques
and iron the entire piece onto
your garment, wall hanging, table runner,
tote, or other project.
Now simply satin stitch all
the pieces into place. Add any
stitched detail lines, and embellish
as desired. |
