Inspired by a trip to Mexico, our colorful Gatos
adorn a pretty wall hanging with a bright border.
Each of our Gatos face has a different motif:
- Hearts
- Butterflies
- Flowers
- Stars
You can also use the "gatos" on
pockets, around the bottom of a skirt, and stitched
to
a vest or jacket.

Materials
Needed
Wall Hanging
- 3/4 yard background fabric
- 1 yard backing fabric
- 1 yard batting
Appliques
- Fabric scraps for the appliques
- Fusible web (Steam-A-Seam etc.)
- 1//2 yard tear-away stabilizer
- Threads to match appliques
- Neutral machine embroidery thread for
bobbin

Very Simple
to Make
Fuse all your applique piece together.
Than take your fused together appliques
and iron the entire piece onto
your garment, wall hanging, table runner,
tote, or other project.
Now simply satin stitch all
the pieces into place. Add any
stitched detail lines, and embellish
as desired.

With a 5 year manufacturers warrenty - the
best pressing sheet we've ever used.
- Steam-A-Seam Sticky Back fusible
web; pressure sensitive on one side with a
temporary hold until you iron for a permanent
bond.
